- CHARACTERISTICS: The hand-made dressage girth is made of genuine sheepskin and a durable quilted fabric. The buckles and D-rings are made out of stainless steel and guarantee durability. The wool is approx. 30 mm/ 1,2 inch in length. The total length of the girth is measured from one buckle pin to the other.
- FIT: The inner, shorter side goes towards the front, in direction of the front legs. The long, convex outside goes back towards the belly. The moonshaped girth fits horses with a short back, wide rib cages and narrow chests. The shape prevents the girth from being pushed forward and hence gives clearance for elbows avoiding chafing.
- BENEFITS: Lambskin is perfect for saddle girths, as it is smooth and does not rub. Furthermore, lambskin is breathable and temperature-regulating, as the air can easily circulate between the fibres. This makes our girth ideal for warm summer days, absorbing sweat reliably and hence keeping your horse’s skin dry. This lambskin girth is particularly suitable for horses with sensitive skin.
