The surface finishing disc is specially designed for grinding, finishing, and blending welds. The abrasive flap wheel is supported by Eco-trim backing, which extends the disc life. You can reduce the diameter of the trimmable backing and reuse the flap wheel even when the flap overhang is worn down to the backing. The grinding wheel works with an aggressive metal removal rate and provides a consistent surface finish without discoloration or loading.
