This work was originated from Italy in 13-14th Century and is used in making world famous Agra’s Taj Mahal main dome extensively. The Semi-Precious Stones/gems are used in this work are CORNELIAN, JASPER, TURQUOISE(firoza), LAPIS LAZULI(lajward), MALACHITE, etc This artwork is called 'Pietra Dura' and have been used in Taj Mahal's walls.
