MHK-U15 is a precise meter that measures ultraviolet UVB radiation and UV Index. It was designed for the applications of measuring UVB irradiance in the wavelengths that enable Vitamin D3 Synthesis in reptiles and the instantaneous UV Index (UVI). Proper usage of meter (1) Wear eye protection and gloves when checking UV lamps. (2) Allow lamps to warm up at least 15 minutes prior to taking readings.
