A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn bears a red ring. The Gut side of the Gewindelehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without extra force. If not, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can screw in by hand, up to two turns. More than that, the thread fails to meet the desired standards. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a Werkskalibrierschein. An independent lab calibrates according to set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
