A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn, marked by a red ring on the latter. The former should screw into a cut thread of a workpiece manually, without extra force. If not, the thread fails to meet expectations (Ausschuss). The latter can screw in up to two turns manually. Beyond that, the thread is subpar. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to parts and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request, following set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
