The threading die must screw onto the entire length of the work piece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (defective). The reference temperature for work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should smoothly screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and measuring tools are calibrated at 20°C
- On-Demand Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a factory-independent calibration service (price on request) using IAC-Gewindescanner and following DIN, ISO, ANSI standards
