The thread gauge ring should screw onto the thread of the work piece by hand, without excessive force, along its entire length. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (scrap). The reference temperature for the work pieces and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent laboratory, following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force
- Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the desired standards (rejected)
- Reference Temperature: The workpiece and measuring tools are calibrated at 20°C
- On-Demand Calibration Certificate: VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate (price on request). Calibration is performed in an independent lab following specified norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner
