Made from a high quality, color coded, plastic material, that has minimal compression during use. Size A – 2″ x 2″. Slot Size – 5/8″. Tab makes shim placement easier and safer, while eliminating the need to place hands under the machinery during installation or removal of shim. Each thickness is easily identified by its own color. Precision Brand Plastic Slotted Shim is used for mounting and leveling smaller, fractional horsepower motors, various gages and instruments, and light-duty plant machinery. A more economical option when stainless steel slotted shim properties are not needed. Plastic Slotted Shim is not recommended and should not be used for larger, heavier motors.
