Dualcomm ETAP-2205 is a dual-link 10/100/1000Base-T Network Tap for monitoring up to two 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet links simultaneously with a single monitor port. One of the RJ45 Inline port pair is compatible with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), which is capable of passing PoE inline power between two RJ45 inline ports. As such, a connected PoE powered device (e.g., a PoE IP phone) can receive the inline power seamlessly from its PoE capable link partner such as a PoE switch. ETAP-2205 can be conveniently powered by USB power from a USB host device such as a Laptop computer.
