The Ambient Weather WS-4000 Mast Extension consists of three sections of galvanized steel, each 14 inches long with a 1” diameter for mounting the WS-4000. It can only be usedwith the WS-4000 EZ-1T or EZ-1P Weather Station Mounts. Three galvanized 1 inch (2.54 cm) O.D. x 14 inch long steel post sections with one end crimped for insertion into another post of the same outer diameter. Each section adds an extra 10 inches of height to the mount of your choice, for a total of 30 inches if all 3 sections are used. Made of 18 gauge 1008-10 steel tubing, galvanized using the Flo-Coat (zinc-chromate-polymer) process for excellent corrosion protection. When used with the EZ-1T WS-4000 tripod assembly, this extension will raise the anemometer to a height of 87 inches.
