The 4530 Deadlatch provides versatile traffic control, allowing two-way access during specific hours for facilities like hospitals, banks, and stores. It's designed to fit existing stile cutouts for older models. Retract the spring-loaded latchbolt using the key or handle, then secure it by pushing in and reversing the key's turn. Compatible with standard mortise cylinders featuring an MS cam, it comes with a 4901-01 strike for flat jambs and is available in three backset sizes. Includes a strike and mounting screws, with optional cylinders, paddles, and handles.
- Retractable Bolt Latch: Securely holds bolt in place for free door swinging with a reverse key turn
- Cylinder Backset: Choose from 7/8", 31/32", or 1-1/8" options
- Case Dimensions: 1" x 5-13/16" x depth (varies by backset). Steel with corrosion-resistant coating
- Latchbolt: 1/2" x 1" x 1/2" throw, all metal with hardened steel pins. Reversible handing
