- Boost Leak Tester Kit helps locate the air leaks in turbo system by plugging the output side of the turbo charger and the inlet of the intake. Turbo system pressure leakage tester can be used to cool system piping. Helps locate air leaks in turbine system components by blocking the output side and air intake of the turbine.
- (1.) Choose a pair of adapters of the right size, place them into the output and air intake of the turbo system, and tighten the clamp. (2.) Connect the quick air coupling of the tool to the adapter. After the US air fitting is connected to the tool, connect the air supply pipe to the tool. (3.) Open the valve, The handle of the valve is now aligned with the hose shaft. (4. )Adjust the regulator to the recommended pressure, check for leaks.
- The maximum pressure of most vehicle turbo systems is about 15psi (1bar) to 25psi (1.7bar). A vehicle coolant system is typically rated at 15psi. Please refer to the manufacturer's manual for the maximum air pressure of the turbo or other test systems. Best to use with an air compressor with a holding tank; not over pressurization, because over pressurization can damage the components of the engine. The pressure gauge with shut off valve & regulator to help prevent over pressurisation.
