Fast and easy texturing for concrete, overlayment and microtoppings has never been easier than with the new lightweight texture rollers from Walttools. At just 6 pounds each, they are a breeze to handle on the surface. Gentle pressure is all that is needed to get a uniform texture and then easy lift off the surface. No other help needed unlike large cumbersome rollers or skins. Easy to roll out imperfections and lines. Uses common release agents just like stamping. These are the first rollers on the market well suited for microtopping as much as concrete. 18" long. Assembled with bracket

  • Walttools 18" texture rollers are the most versatile texturing tool available. It is the only roller that can be used to produce texture on surfaces ranging from thin microtoppings to regular concrete. The subtle, but plentiful textures offered will easily transform a surface into something fantastic.
  • Each roller comes with a bracket that's ready to thread onto a broom handle. At 6 pounds each that are very easy to maneuver for any worker. You can fully put down texture on a 20'x20' surface in 10 minutes. Try that with texture skins!
  • Similar practices for concrete stamping are to be followed & a release agent is required to keep the roller from sticking to the concrete. The most important difference is with rollers you need to start imprinting earlier than when using standard stamping tools. Because the amount of weight & downward force applied to the roller is limited, they work best when the concrete is still very soft. If the concrete gets too hard, the depth of imprint is reduced, resulting in poorly textured surface.
  • To avoid a problem with lap lines which can be an issue when the texture roller is used across areas that may be too soft you should hit the lines when the concrete hardens a bit more and do not be afraid to cross roll. Since these are only textures you do not have the worry of repetition of a pattern.
  • Easy clean up. Uses common release agents just like stamping. No other help needed unlike large cumbersome rollers or skins. Easy to roll out imperfections and lines. Multiple textures available. Get creative by layering other textures.
